Our History

Starting Out

The church was established in 2004 to spread the love of Jesus Christ to the inner cities of America, starting from the downtown area of South Dallas, Texas. Pastor Raphael Adebayo is the shepherd of this congregation whose mission is to share the love of Christ to people irrespective of their race or societal status. We achieve this by staying close to the people in need of the gospel of Jesus Christ and serve by restoring hope to the homeless, ex-offenders, prostitutes, and drug addicts. Every soul is very important to Jesus Christ and that is why the whole of heaven rejoices when a single soul is saved. (Luke 10:15)

The Vision

In May 2004, Pastor and Pastor Mrs. Adebayo, their infant daughter and a handful of volunteers stood on the corner of Malcolm X Boulevard and MLK to hand out food and clothes to those in need. This was the start of his ministry to the homeless in South Dallas. The first fellowship of the Winners Assembly started out in a community center and then moved to a funeral home before moving to the current location in downtown Dallas
